  14. WHAT IS ARCHIVE 2.1 ?
  15.  
  16.    Archive 2.1 is a database specialized in archiving programs compresseds
  17.    by PkZip, Arj, Arc, Squeeze and DIET and putted in floppy disks (any size).
  18.    For each program archived, Archive can store dimensions (compressed and
  19.    expanded globals and for each archive that contains the program), video
  20.    and audio boards supported, memory requirements, operative system, CPU,
  21.    peripherics supported, a description (10K) and much other informations
  22.    that allows you to search and SELECT programs.
  23.    Archive 2.1 can report you statistics about archives compression ratio
  24.    (for each compressor) and other statistics.
  25.    Archive 2.1 may suggest you the best disk where put a file.
  26.    Use Archive 2.1 is more simple that using a normal database.
  27.    Archive 2.1 has CONTEXTUAL help in two versions: ITALIAN and ENGLISH.

  29. REQUIREMENTS

  31.    Archive 2.1 can run under ALL PC.
  32.    It requires only a 8088 with 320K of free RAM.
  33.    Mouse is not required but it is very useful.
  34.    EMS memory is supported.

  72. INSTALLATION
  73.  
  74.    For install Archive 2.1, create a temporaly directory and copy on it
  75.    all Archive files.
  76.    Then write INSTALL and press ENTER. The use of install program is very
  77.    simple: press the "Install sharware version" for install the trial version
  78.    or press the "Install registered version" for install the registered
  79.    version if you registered your copy.

  81.    !!! : If you registered version 2.0 of Archive you may install version
  82.          2.1 using the same keyword.

  84. REGISTRATION
  85.  
  86.    Archive 2.1 is sharware. The sharware version can't print and have SOME
  87.    wait to remember duty of registration.
  88.    The registered version instead can print and haven't any type of pause.
  89.    Use again INSTALL program and press button "How can I register ?"
  90.    for registration instruction.
  91.    Registration cost only 20$.
